Great Western Railway Coaches

warning: This page is best viewed with a wide screen (greater than 1200 pixels wide).

I always like looking around the carriage shed when I visit a preserved railway and I usually find that the best bit is hidden down the back, out of sight, and covered in dust. So I want to keep that going on GWR Coaches, so here are a few interesting things that one day will get included on a proper page. If you have something that you think I might like to include here please send me an email.

This drawing of a Dean 52' underframe drawn in March 1893 incorporates all the design changes up to February 1895.
That shows how designs changed, and nothing stayed constant.
