There are 2 different designs. The first design started life as a 6 wheel slip composite. The coaches went through many iterations of brake third and brake composite, both with 3 or 4 compartments. The second design started life as a 5 compartment composite. At some point one end compartment was converted into a combined guard and luggage compartment with double doors. The distinguishing feature is that the first design had guard's duckets, and none appear to be removed, whilst the second design didn't have them. | ||
